Annotation |
Kipling began writing his Just So Stories as bedtime stories for his children. They began appearing in magazines in 1897, and in 1902 the twelve standard tales were collected and published in book form. This volume includes two additional stories, "The Tabu Tale" and "Ham and the Porcupine," the very last story that Kipling wrote. For grades 3-6 and older readers.
