Annotation Warren Harding was born on November 2, 1865, near Blooming Grove, Ohio, the eldest of eight children. His father was a physician. Harding was elected to the presidency in 1920. Several members of his administration became involved in the Teapot Dome scandal, which embittered his last days. He became ill and died in 1923. For grades 5-8 and older readers.
